Yesterday Google launched www.FreetheAirwaves.com, a site where Google says that more than three quarters of radio airwaves called “white space spectrum” are completely unused. Those airwaves were the Fuzzy static between channels that we used to see on the old TVs.

Google wants to make a new revolution on those white spaces with wireless services of all kinds, including an universal wireless Internet. Let’s remember that Google, Spring Nextel and some other companies also want to implement wireless internet across all the U.S. territory.

www.FreetheAirwaves.com is inviting people to sign the petition and help spread the word about this new campaign. You can even upload your own video trough YouTube to support the campaign, the URL channel is http://www.youtube.com/freetheairwaves
